A SIMPLE STORY

Simplegood was born from a passion for high quality, handmade goods.

​For years now, consumers have been buying quantity over quality and the retail marketplace has been flooded with low cost goods. At first, it felt amazing! You could have EVERYTHING you ever wanted. You could have two of everything you wanted, in fact. We filled our lives and our homes with cheap goods with the intention of bettering our lives. But in the end we found ourselves surrounded by things that we don't love. Things that break easily. Things we can't pass down to our children. We found ourselves living in a world full of things that don't really matter.

Not so long ago, people valued objects based on their craftsmanship and quality, not just on how much they appealed to us in the moment. They had to be sensible about where they spent their money and they made sure that they were getting good value from durable goods. The U.S.A. has long been highly regarded for our commitment to high quality goods, but in recent times we have lost touch with some of our core values.

Simplegood is our effort to restore a sense of pride and craftmanship into everyday goods. Our products are designed and selected to be as durable as they are beautiful. We don't chase trends or try to bring in the cheapest prices. We don't cut corners. We love the corners.
